The Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu (RCJY) was established in 1975 by a Royal Decree, granting it financial and administrative independence. It is responsible for developing and managing the industrial cities of Jubail, Yanbu, Ras Al-Khair, and Jazan as part of Saudi Arabia’s strategy to diversify income sources and expand its industrial base.
RCJY oversees four major industrial cities: Jubail, Yanbu, Ras Al-Khair, and Jazan. These cities are global industrial hubs with advanced infrastructure, strategic locations, and a pivotal role in driving industrial development.
