The Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu has set several ambitious strategic goals, working towards their achievement and transforming them into tangible realities. These goals include maximizing the contribution to the Kingdom's industrial transformation, maximizing the social and economic contribution to the Saudi economy, developing the current industrial base and fostering new sectors, focusing on attracting small and medium-sized industrial enterprises, attracting and developing emerging technology investors, providing unique enabling advantages and advanced services, and transforming services to enable private sector participation and enhance financial sustainability.

It is worth mentioning that the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu was established in 1975 by a royal decree to implement the necessary infrastructure preparations for developing the Jubail and Yanbu areas as two industrial cities based on the concept of comprehensive management. Today, the Commission oversees four cities: Jubail and Yanbu Industrial Cities, Ras Al-Khair for Mining Industries, and Jazan for Basic and Conversion Industries, covering an extensive area of over 2,175.2 square kilometres and being home to 371,000 residents.
